Kambrook Recommends Safety First  
IMPORTANT: Please retain your  
instruction book for future use.  
At Kambrook, we believe that safe performance is the first priority in any  
consumer product, so that you, our valued customer can confidently  
use and trust our products. We ask that any electrical appliance that  
you use be operated in a sensible fashion with due care and attention  
placed on the following important operating instructions.  
Important Safeguards For Your Kambrook  
Arctic HV Pedestal Fan  
• Carefully read all instructions before operating  
the Kambrook Pedestal Fan for the first time  
and save for future reference.  
• Never carry the fan by the cord or yank  
to disconnect from an outlet; instead grasp  
the cord at the plug and pull to disconnect.  
Do not pull the cord around sharp edges  
or corners.  
• Remove and safely discard any packaging  
material and promotional labels before  
using the fan for the first time.  
• The fan must not be used if the grilles are  
not fastened correctly and the pedestal  
stand and base correctly fitted as per  
the instructions provided in this book.  
• To eliminate a choking hazard for young  
children, remove and safely discard the  
protective cover fitted to the power plug  
of this fan.  
• When unpacking the fan, check to see  
you have received all the items listed in the  
parts list before discarding the packaging.  
• Ensure that the surface is level, clean  
and free of water and other substances.  
• To avoid electrical circuit overload, it is  
recommended that no other appliances  
are plugged into the same circuit as your  
fan when it is in use.  
• Always ensure the fan is properly assembled  
before use. Follow the instructions provided  
in this book.  
• Keep the fan clean. Follow the cleaning  
instructions provided in this book.  
Disconnect the power plug before dismantling,  
assembling or before cleaning and when the  
fan is not in use.  
• Do not leave the fan unattended when in use.  
• Do not place anything, on top of the fan when  
assembled, when in use and when stored.  
• This fan is not intended for commercial  
or industrial use.  
• Avoid touching mobile parts of the fan.  
• Never insert fingers, pencils or any other  
objects through the guards whenever the  
power plug is connected, in particular  
while the fan is switched on.  
• Do not operate in the presence of explosives  
and/or flammable fumes or liquids.  
• Do not unplug the fan by pulling on the cord.

Important Safeguards For All  
Electrical Appliances  
• Fully unwind the power cord before use.  
• This appliance is for household use only.  
Do not use this appliance for other than  
its intended use. Do not use in moving  
vehicles or boats. Do not use outdoors.  
Misuse may cause injury.  
• Connect only to a 230V or 240V power outlet.  
• Do not let the power cord hang over the  
edge of a bench or table, touch hot  
surfaces or become knotted.  
• The installation of a residual current device  
(safety switch) is recommended to provide  
additional safety protection when using  
electrical appliances. It is advisable that a  
safety switch with a rated residual operating  
current not exceeding 30mA be installed in  
the electrical circuit supplying the appliance.

• To protect against electric shock, do  
not immerse the power cord, power  
plug or appliance in water or any other  
liquid, unless it is recommended in the  
cleaning instructions.  
• The appliance is not intended for use by  
persons (including children) with reduced  
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,  
or lack of experience and knowledge,  
unless they have been given supervision or  
instruction concerning use of the appliance,  
by a person responsible for their safety.  
• Always turn the appliance to the OFF  
position, switch off at the power outlet  
and unplug at the power outlet when the  
appliance is not in use.  
• Before cleaning, always turn the appliance  
to the OFF position, switch off at the power

Kambrook Service Centre.

Using Your Kambrook Pedestal Fan  
Before First Use  
Remove any promotional material from  
the fan.  
IMPORTANT:  
When unpacking the fan,  
check to see you have  
received all the items  
listed in the Parts List before  
discarding the packaging.

2. Fit the Outer Extension Tube on to  
the Locking Screw and tighten the  
Locking Screw firmly. (Fig. 3).  
Assembling Your Kambrook

Assembly  
1. Place the Fixing Tube into the hole  
of the Stability Plate (Fig. 1) then  
place both under the Base. Place  
the Washer on to the Locking Screw  
and fit through the hole at the  
bottom of the Stability Plate (Fig. 2).

3. Unscrew the Height Adjustment Knob  
and pull up on the Inner Extension  
Tube to adjust the height, ensuring  
that the Height Adjustment Knob is  
fully tightened to hold in place before  
assembling the Fan Head. (Fig. 4).

To Operate the Kambrook  
Arctic HV Pedestal Fan  
Plug the cord into a 230V or 240V power  
point and switch on.  
NOTE: The Inner Extension Tube is  
inside the Outer Extension Tube.  
4. Mount the pre-assembled Fan Head to  
the Inner Extension Tube and tighten  
The fan has 3 speeds.To adjust the flow of  
air, turn the fan speed dial located at the  
back of the fan to the preferred speed -  
LOW, MED or HIGH.To turn Off, turn the fan  
speed dial to the OFF position.

Adjusting Air Flow Direction  
To adjust the flow of air left or right, manually  
swivel the fan to the desired position.

fan and tilt the fan either upwards or  
downwards to suit. Once the fan is in  
the desired position, re-tighten the  
two knobs to hold in place.

The fan height can be manually adjusted.  
Simply loosen the Height Adjustment Knob  
on the Extension Tube of the fan, then adjust  
to the required height. Re-tighten the Height  
Adjustment Knob when the desired height  
has been reached (Fig. 6).  
5. Press the two Tilt Adjustment Knobs

either side of the fan head. (Fig. 6)

Care and Maintenance  
Always turn the fan to the OFF position,  
switch off at the power outlet and unplug  
at the power outlet before cleaning.  
To clean the fan, remove dust that  
may have accumulated with a soft  
cloth or a vacuum cleaner using the  
brush attachment.Wipe the exterior  
of the fan with a soft, damp cloth.  
Never use an abrasive cleaner.When not  
in use, store the fan in a cool, clean and  
dry location.
