It is recommended that the hands-free car kit be positioned and installed on  
the windshield in front of the driver's shoulder, as shown in the picture below.

WARNING: Install the Hands-free Car Kit out of the way of any Air Bags for  
safety reason  
CHARGING THE NXBT-001  
Using the car charger  
Please charge the NXBT-001 before its first use. When charging, a red LED will  
be displayed. When the device is fully charged the light will switch off.  
Using solar power  
Direct the solar panel on the back of the hands-free car kit toward the sun. the  
operating time will be extended continuously without any additional charge  
required by the car charger.  
 
Warning: Do not attempt to charge the hands-free car kit with any charger other  
than the one provided. Using another charger may damage or destroy the hands-  
free car kit.  
Low battery indicator  
When the battery is less than 3.5V, the device will make a sound and a red LED  
will flash thrice every 30 seconds.  
TURNING THE NXBT-001 ON  
Press and hold the  
button for 3 seconds to turn the NXBT-001 on. You will  
hear an audio cue of "Do Re Mi Fa".  
TURNING THE NXBT-001 OFF  
Press and hold the  
button for 5 seconds to turn the NXBT-001 off. You will  
hear an audio cue of "Fa Mi Re Do".  
PAIRING THE NXBT-001  
Initial pairing  
! With the NXBT-001 OFF, press and hold the  
button for 5 seconds. You  
will hear a BEEP sound, and red & blue LED lights will flash alternately.  
! Use your cell phone to search for Bluetooth devices.  
! Select "NXBT-001" on your cell phone.  
! Your cell phone will request a password. Enter "0000".  
! Your cell phone will show that pairing is now complete.  
! The NXBT-001 will stand by if the pairing is not successful within 5 minutes.  
Auto reconnection  
When the NXBT-001 turns off while connected to a cell phone, it will  
automatically reconnect to the cell phone when it is turned back on. (Both  
devices must be within the required range of 33 feet / 10m.)  
When the NXBT-001 and your cell phone are separated by a distance of 33 feet  
(10 meters) or more, the NXBT-001 and cell phone will disconnected. When they  
are brought back within the required distance, the NXBT-001 will automatically  
reconnect with the cell phone.  
 
MAKING A PHONE CALL  
Dialing with the cell phone  
With the NXBT-001 on and paired with your cell phone, dial your cell phone as  
you would normally.  
Voice Dialing  
With the NXBT-001 on and paired with your cell phone, press the  
once. After you hear the audio signal, state the desired name.  
Note: Your cell phone must support Voice Dialing.

Last Call Redialing  
With the NXBT-001 on and paired with your cell phone, press and hold the  
button for 2 seconds, the last dialed number will be redialed.  
Note: Do not press the  
button for more than 2 seconds as the NXBT-001  
will turn off.  
ANSWERING A PHONE CALL

button once when the cell phone rings.  
ENDING A PHONE CALL  
Press the  
button once when the conversation has ended.  
REJECTING A PHONE CALL  
Press and hold the  
button for 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.  
OPTIONS AVAILABLE DURING A CALL  
TRANSFER CALL BETWEEN YOUR CELL PHONE AND THE NXBT-001  
Press and hold the  
button for 2 seconds during your conversation. You will  
hear a BEEP sound and the call will transfer between your cell phone and the  
NXBT-001.  
HAND-HOLD MODE  
This device supports hand-hold mode. If you don't want to use the loudspeaker,  
you can turn the volume to the lowest level and use the NXBT-001 as you using  
your cell phone.  
VOLUME CONTROL  
With the NXBT-001 on and paired with your cell phone, press  
adjust the volume.

MUTE  
To activate the mute function, press and hold the  
button for 2 seconds  
during a phone call. This will mute your voice to the other party.  
To release the mute function, press and hold the

Audio Player  
If you are using a phone that supports A2DP and your phone is already  
connected with the NXBT-001, you can use the NXBT-001 to play the music  
stored in your cell phone.  
PLAY, PAUSE AND RESUME

If there is a phone call the music will be stopped automatically. It will be started
