Besides restoring settings, master reset

You can use master reset to delete

automatically scan FM stations, and view  
memory status in the setup menu.

Brightness Adjustment

You can manually adjust LCD brightness or  
let the set adjust brightness automatically.  
You can load photos, restore lost photos  
into albums by connecting it to the PC.  
Besides, you can synchronize time and auto  
dim setting on the PC with the set.

Press REPEAT ALARM / BRIGHTNESS  
CONTROL once or more to cycle screen  
brightness through 3 levels.  
Sleep timer  
Automatically adjustment  
The clock radio has a built-in sleep timer,  
which enables the set to automatically turn  
off radio after a set period of time.  
To avoid strong light emitting from the unit  
at night time, the auto dim function can be  
used to adjust the brightness to the lowest  
level automatically. (See Setting Auto  
Brightness in chapter SETUP)  
When auto dim is set, during auto dim  
time span, the LCD brightness will be auto  
adjusted to the lowest level. Press any button  
to increase the brightness and it will last 10  
seconds

Press CHANGE repeatedly to switch the  
timer between: 15 min->30 min->60 min->90  
min->120 min->OFF.  
To turn off sleep timer,  
Set the timer to OFF.  
When auto brightness timer reaches the  
end time, the LCD brightness automatically  
changes to the brightness level before the  
Auto BrightnessTimer is set.  
 
Safety and maintenance  
If you do not intend to use the clock radio  
for a long time, withdraw the power cord  
from the wall outlet.  
The apparatus shall not be exposed to  
dripping or splashing and that no objects  
lled with liquids, such as vases, shall be  
placed on the apparatus.  
Place the set on a hard and at surface so  
that the system does not tilt.  
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly  
replaced. Replace only with the same or  
equivalent type.  
Where the MAINS plug or an appliance  
coupler is used as the disconnect device,  
the disconnect device shall remain readily  
operable.  
Do not cover the set.Adequate ventilation  
with a minimum gap of 6 inches between the  
ventilation holes and surrounding surfaces is  
necessary to prevent heat build-up.  
Install the unit near the AC outlet and where  
the AC power plug can be easily reached.  
The mechanical parts of the set contain self-  
lubricating bearings and must not be oiled or  
lubricated.  
The apparatus shall not be exposed to  
dripping or splashing  
Do not expose the set, batteries, to humidity,  
rain, sand or excessive heat caused by  
heating equipment or direct sunlight.  
To clean the set, use a soft dry cloth. Do not  
use any cleaning agents containing alcohol,  
ammonia, benzene or abrasives as these may  
harm the housing.  
No objects lled with liquids, such as vases,  
shall be placed on the apparatus.  
No naked ame sources, such as lighted  
candles, should be placed on the apparatus.

Troubleshooting  
If a fault occurs, rst check the points listed below before taking the set for repair. If you  
are unable to remedy a problem by following these hints, consult your dealer or service  
center.  
: Do not open the set as there is a risk of electric shock. Under no  
circumstances should you try to repair the set yourself, as this will

Synchronization is interrupted and the set

Connect the set to your PC and synchronize
