The DigiMax adds eight channels of pristine mic preamplification, limiting and EQ Enhancement
as well as 24bit digital output. Each channel features our award winning, high performance,
dual servo microphone preamplifiers (no-capacitors in the signal path), 48V phantom power,
-20dB pad, EQ Enhance and dual domain limiter. The dual domain limiter samples the the
audio signal in RMS and peak domains, achieving instantaneous transparent limiting. The
first two channels also offer polarity reversal and high impedance instrument inputs on the
front of the unit for easy access. DigiMax digital synchronization is achieved by offering Word
Clock Out and Word Clock In via BNC connectors. The sample rate can be set on the front panel
to 48K, 44.1K and 32K providing compatibility across multiple platforms.
The DigiMax interfaces in a variety of ways using analog and digital outputs simultaneously.
There are eight TRS balanced outputs along with ADAT LightPipe output and four SPDIF stereo
outputs. The DigiMax is the perfect partner for recording systems such as Digidesign 001, MOTU
2408 as well as numerous digital mixers and hard disk recorders.
The DigiMax is milled from 1/4" solid aluminum and uses blue anodized aluminum dual knobs.
