Indoor Analog Thermometer/Hygrometer/Clock
Tower
Your RadioShack Indoor Analog Ther-
mometer/Hygrometer/Clock Tower com-
bines a clock, a Fahrenheit thermometer,
and a hygrometer in a classic-looking com-
pact acrylic cabinet. The Tower measures
both the temperature and relative humidity
in the room. It’s great for helping you main-
tain an ideal environment in your home or
office.
Warning: Dispose of the old battery prompt-
ly and properly. Do not burn or bury it.
Note: If you do not plan to use your clock for
a month or more, remove the battery. Batter-
ies can leak chemicals that can destroy elec-
tronic parts.
SELECTING A LOCATION
Note: This product is intended for indoor
use only. It is not a precision instrument
and actual measurements might vary.
Important: The Tower is for indoor use only.
Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat sourc-
es (such as kitchen ovens, fireplaces, or wa-
ter heaters), or locations where the
temperature reaches 120°F (48.89°C) or
higher.
INSTALLING THE
BATTERY
Place the Tower on a flat surface, vertically
or horizontally. You can turn each dial by the
recesses in its back so it is right side up in
the position you selected.
The clock requires one N size battery (not
supplied) for power. We recommend a Ra-
dioShack battery.
Caution: Use only a fresh battery of the
required size and recommended type.
SETTING THE TIME
Install the battery as indicated by the polar-
ity symbols (+ and –) inside the battery
compartment on the back of the clock.
Turn the knob on the back of the clock coun-
terclockwise or clockwise to set the current
time. The thermometer and hygrometer are
accurately calibrated at the factory. You do
not need to adjust them.
