INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE  
SAFETY WARNINGS  
Selecting the location for appliance.  
Install the appliance properly on the flat and  
firm surface.  
Specification of electric power.  
The electric power specification of the  
appliance is attached inside at the top of  
the door or outside at the back.  
Do not use any extension cords or  
double adaptors.  
Do not plug several appliances into the  
same multiple power board. This could  
cause over heating and the risk of fire.  
Install appliance in the available space.  
Allow 1 foot(30cm)from the ceiling, and 2  
inches( 5cm ) from the wall.

Earthing the appliance.  
If the socket is the 2-legged type, the  
appliance must be earthed.  
Install appliance in the appropriate location.  
Place the appliance away from sunlight or heat.  
Do not connect the earthing wire to the gas  
pipes or telephone lines.  
Replacing the lamp.  
Install appliance in a damp place.  
There is a risk of eletric shock or  
malfunctions.  
1. Unplug the power cord from the socket.  
2. Remove Chilled tray.  
3. Unscrew by plus-type driver then take out  
lamp cover. (optional model only)  
4. Turn the lamp counter clockwise.  
5. Replace new lamp same specification as  
original one.  
Warning ! : Disconnect power supply before  
replacing the lamp.  
 
SETTING UP THE REFRIGERATOR  
ICE MAKING  
Fill the ice tray with  
1)  
Step 1  
water at about 80% of  
its capacity, or at its  
water levelindicator.  
Clean up inside of the refrigerator with a  
clean cloth.  
2) Carefully place the ice tray on the freezer  
shelf otherwise the splashed water will be  
frozen and cause the ice tray is stuck hard.

Insert the power plug into the socket  
while keep the door open for checking  
the interior light, Then turn the  
temperature control button to MAX.  
For making quick ice  
cubes, the temperature  
control button must be  
set to MAX”

Step 3  
Close the door and let the refrigerator  
operate for 2-3 hours.  
4) The water will become the ice cubes with in  
3-4 hours. Please remove the ice tray by  
pulling it out. Never use any kind of  
instrument. This may cause damage on the  
freezer.  
Step 4  
Check the refrigerator temperature by  
touching inside the freezer.  
To take the ice cubes of the  
the ice cube tray, you should  
gently twist the ice tray (As  
shown), Do not bend it over.  
5)  
Step 5  
The appropriate temperature should be  
controlled by turing the temperature  
control button to 4, or the desired  
temperature can be adjust. Now your  
refrigerator is ready to work.

minutes  
NOTE : After unplug the appliance, wait for about 5minutes before  
restarting.  
 
TEMPERATURE CONTROL  
DEFROSTING  
Defrosting should be often operated, as the  
thick frost (1/4inch) may cause low  
efficiency of the refrigerator.  
The temperature control is level 2”  
The temperature at low level 2is used  
if extreme cool is no used.  
It is used when there is not much food in  
the refrigerator.  
1) If the thick frost is over the red level,  
should push the defrosting button.

The temperature at level 4is suitable for  
storing food.  
It is appropriate for operating the  
refrigerator.  
2) As soon as the Push Defrostingis  
pushed, the frost is gradually defrosting.

3) Do not use a knife or other metal  
instruments to remove ice/frost. It may  
cause damage on the freezer.

MAXis properly used if the power cool  
is in need.  
It is used when there are a lot of food.

4) After defrosting, the button will pop up  
and the refrigerator working properly.  
NOTE : To save energy consumption, Do not set the refrigerator temperature  
lower than necessary  
 
USING THE WATER DISPENSER (MODEL WITH WATER DISPENSER ONLY)  
If dringking water is needed, push the  
water dispenser lever with a glass.  
To refill the water tank, remove the cap  
and fill it up with drinking water, then  
keep the cap into place.  
When you want to clean water tank, let water out of the tank. Remove x away from ➁  
then remove the water tank from the locking device by lifting it up. Remove the lid by  
pulling outward straightly. Wash it with detergent and warm water, then wash with clean  
water.  
After drying it with a clean cloth, place it correctly.  
Steps to Operate the water dispenser  
1. The water tank should be cleaned up firstly before use, as the dust and bad smell can  
be removed.  
2. The water tank should be filled up with pure drinking water. The water dispenser  
devices might be damaged by the syrup, soft drink, and hot water.  
3. If the appliance has just been installed, please let 3 or 4 glasses of water away to  
remove the dust and plastic smell of the water tank.  
4. To prevent soaking on the floor, you should softly push the water dispenser lever with a  
glass, then pull it backward slowly and wait until the last drop of water.  
5.The accessories should be removed for cleaning up at least 1-2 times a month.  
 
FOOD STORAGE GUIDE  
Allow warm food and beverages to cool  
down before storing them in the appliance.  
Do not let the refrigerator door open for a  
long while. This will cause it lost the cool  
power.  
Liquid or nasty smell food should be covered  
or well-wrapped before it is stored.  
Do not spray water directly on the  
refrigerator. This is a risk of electronic shock  
or leak.  
Never store any bottles of beverages in the  
freezer. There is a risk of bottle explosion.  
Do not put the gas container near the  
appliance. As the compressor starts  
working, it may catch a fire on the electric  
circuit.  
Please keep the space between shelves for  
air circulation.  
Do not store volatile and inflamable  
substances in the refrigerator. The storage  
of benzene, thinner, alcohle, ether LP gas  
or other such substances may cause an  
explosion.  
 
CLEANING A CCESSORIES

Before using, the appliance should be cleaned up.  
The appliance should be cleaned regularly.

Cleaning the r ubber door seals  
Cleaning the e xterior  
Clean the exterior with a mild detergent and  
cloth. Dry it with a clean cloth.  
If the rubber door seals are dirty, the door  
will not does properly and the refrigerator  
and freezer will be unable to function  
efficiently. Clean the rubber door seals  
with a mild detergent. Then wipe again  
with a clean cloth. (But inside the rubber  
doesn Õt have to be cleaned)  
Cleaning the inter ior and other  
accessor ies .  
After removing all the stored foods, clean the  
interior and other accessories with a mild  
detergent and damp cloth. Then wipe again  
with a clean cloth.

Remove the power plug before cleaning.

Do not clean the appliance with bezene, thinner, or strong detergent. This will ruin the  
coated materials and become rusty.  
When disposing the refrigerators : Should be followed the disposal law of your country.

TR OUBLE SHOO TING  
If there are the following problems with your appliance, please check them by yourself before  
contacting the service center, If you can Õt find the solution, note down the appliance model  
and running number, then contact the service center.  
The appliance is not oper ating at all or the temper ature is too high  
1. Check that the power plug is properly connected.  
2. Check that the power plug fuse has not blown.  
3. Is the temperature control on the front panel set to the correct temperature?  
4. Is there too much stored food? Space of food out as much as possible to improve  
ventilation.  
The side of the appliance are nor mally warm  
The w arm sides of the appliance is not abnormal. Because the heat  
installed in the front corners of the appliance to prevent condensation from  
exchanger pipes are  
defrosting. In very  
humid weater, condensation may form on the outer surface of the appliance when moisture  
in the air comes into contact with the cool surface of the appliance. Thus, do not cover the  
refrigerator with cloth or other materials.
