1. MAKE SURE THE TRANSFORMER IS CORRECT 16 TO 24 DC AND CORRECT POLARITY .  
2.Plug in transformer and turn on unit. LED’s for HOLD / FLASH, TRAITS CHASE, PAGE 1 and  
DIMMER are on. you are now in MANUAL MODE  
1. MANUAL MODE  
Touch any (FIG 2.) CHANNEL 1-24 BUTTON the LED will light and that channel is turned on, the  
maximum output is displayed on (FIG14.) LCD DIGITAL DISPLAY.  
You can touch (FIG 3.) CH 1-24 HOLD/FLASH for 0.5 sec until LED for HOLD is lit. This will keep  
Channel LED’s lit until you touch them again.  
2. PROGRAM  
2.1 CHASE PROGRAM  
2.2 ASSIGN SCENE PROGRAM  
2.3 DIMMER SETTING in MANUAL MODE  
The CODE setting must be entered to enter PROGRAM MODE and to cancel the code of a  
Chase.  
2A. Touch (FIG 6.) ASSIGN SCENE /BLIND and (FIG 9.) RECORD CHASE at the same time. for  
0.5 sec.  
LED’s will light for these and for HOLD on (FIG 3.) CH 1-24 HOLD/FLASH .  
2B. Touch in sequence (FIG.1.) CHASE 8 , (FIG.1.) CHASE 9 , (FIG.1.) CHASE 6 , (FIG.1.)  
CHASE 2 , all LED’s will blink 3 times and LED’s on HOLD ASSIGN SCENE AND RECORD CHASE  
WILL REMAIN LIT. if correct code is entered. If a mistake was made the LED’s will turn off and you  
need to repeat step 2A.. and 2B.  
The Memory capacity of this console is 24 Chases With each Chase containing 999 steps. 24 chan-  
nels are available for each step. The total steps available are 2304.  
2.1 CHASE PROGRAM  
MAKE SURE (FIG12 ) DIMMER FADER IS SET TO MAXIMUM WHEN STARTING TO PRO-  
GRAM.  
A. Touch any (FIG.1.) CHASE 1-24 (Using (FIG 4.) PAGE 1 / PAGE 2 ) Corresponding LED’s light  
and  
(FIG14.) LCD DIGITAL DISPLAY read 01 indicating first step.  
B. Touch (FIG 9.) RECORD CHASE for 0.5 sec. All LED’s will blink, you can then touch any (FIG 2.)  
CHANNEL 1-24 buttons for 0.5 sec corresponding LED will light up. Touching any lit channel button  
again will cause it to blink rapidly. At this point you can adjust the dimmer level for that channel. any  
other channels in this step will remain at full value or what ever level you set them at. To change  
display from 0-100% to 00- 255 touch and hold for 0.5 sec (FIG 7.) AUDIO PERCENT TRAITS  
CHASE and move (FIG12 ) DIMMER FADER. Continue until all Channels that you need for this  
step are on.

2.1 CHASE PROGRAM Cont.  
At this point you can set the duration between this and the next step in the chase if you want to do  
this.  
Use (FIG13.) CHASE FADER or touch (FIG 5.) REAL TIME /TAP SYNC, wait until the interval is  
what you want, then touch (FIG 5.) REAL TIME /TAP SYNC again. For most programs let the  
default setting of 0.3 be used.  
C. Touch (FIG 9.) RECORD CHASE for 0.5 sec. All LED’s will blink, then Channel LED’s will go  
out.This means the first step is memorized (FIG14.) LCD DIGITAL DISPLAY shows 02, step LED is  
lit.Step 2 is ready to be programmed.  
D. If at any point during this programming you can touch (FIG10.) SINGLE CHASE / MIX CHASE /  
STEP and go back to any step you wan to edit.  
E. When you are finished programming the chase, touch whatever (FIG.1.) CHASE 1-12 button  
you were programming until LED turns off. At this point you can touch another (FIG.1.) CHASE 1-12  
button that you want to program. Repeat A,B,C,D until all CHASES are completed you can now exit  
CHASE PROGRAM by again touching (FIG 6.) ASSIGN SCENE /BLIND and (FIG 9.)  
RECORD CHASE .  
INSERT AND DELETE STEPS  
To insert a step while you are in CHASE PROGRAM mode Tap (FIG 8.) MANUEL / STEP or  
(FIG10.) SINGLE CHASE / MIX CHASE / STEP until you reach the step you want to insert an addi-  
tional step after. Touch and hold (FIG 4.) PAGE 1 / PAGE 2 + (FIG 7.) AUDIO PERCENT TRAITS  
CHASE, while holding these buttons touch and hold (FIG 8.) MANUEL / STEP for 0.5 sec. A new  
step is added and all following steps are bumped 1 step i.e if add a step after #5 the old step #6  
would become #7.  
To delete a step while in CHASE PROGRAM mode Tap (FIG 8.) MANUEL / STEP or (FIG10.)  
SINGLE CHASE / MIX CHASE / STEP until you reach the step you want delete. Touch and hold  
(FIG 4.) PAGE 1 / PAGE 2 + (FIG 7.) AUDIO PERCENT TRAITS CHASE, while holding these but-  
tons touch and hold (FIG10.) SINGLE CHASE / MIX CHASE / STEP for 0.5 sec. The (FIG14.) LCD  
DIGITAL DISPLAY will read one less than the step # you deleted i.e if you deleted step #5 the  
(FIG14.) LCD DIGITAL DISPLAY will now read 04 when you finish.  
2.2 ASSIGN SCENE PROGRAM  
This is to assign any CHANNEL 1-24 to any other one or more CHANNEL 1-24 .  
A. While in PROGRAM MODE, to assign CHANNEL 2 to CHANNEL 1-8. Touch (FIG 2.) CHANNEL  
1-8 until all LED’s are on .  
B. Touch any Channel 1-8 again LED blinks rapidly adjust value with (FIG12 ) DIMMER FADER.  
Repeat with all Channels until desired effect is attained.  
C. Touch and hold (FIG 6.) ASSIGN SCENE /BLIND + (FIG 2.) CHANNEL 2 for 0.5 sec , all LED’s  
blink and then turn off which means CHANNEL 2 has been ASSIGNED to CHANNELS 1 to 8  
This is used primarily for midi control, but can be extremely useful,l because you can recall 24 pre-  
set scenes on demand.

2.3 DIMMER SETTING IN MANUAL MODE  
To adjust DIMMING/VALUE of any channel in Manual mode.  
A. Enter CHASE PROGRAM mode, Touch any (FIG 2.) CHANNEL 1-24 when LED is on touch  
same channel again until LED starts to blink. You can now use (FIG12 ) DIMMER FADER to adjust  
output. Set as many CHANNELS as you want in this manner.  
B. Touch (FIG 9.) RECORD CHASE button for 0.5 sec until all LED’s blink. This means output has  
been memorized.  
2.3.1 CODES  
The following are codes entered using the (FIG.1.) CHASE 1-12 buttons.  
ENTER PROGRAM MODE  
A. Touch (FIG 6.) ASSIGN SCENE /BLIND and (FIG 9.) RECORD CHASE at the same time. for 0.5  
sec.  
LED’s will light for these and for HOLD on (FIG 3.) CH 1-24 HOLD/FLASH .  
B. Touch in sequence (FIG.1.) CHASE 8 , (FIG.1.) CHASE 9 , (FIG.1.) CHASE 6 , (FIG.1.) CHASE  
2 , all LED’s will blink 3 times and LED’s on HOLD ASSIGN SCENE AND RECORD CHASE WILL  
REMAIN LIT. if correct code is entered. If a mistake was made the LED’s will turn off and you need  
to repeat step 2A.. and 2B.  
DELETE CHASING PROGRAM  
A. Touch (FIG 6.) ASSIGN SCENE /BLIND and (FIG 9.) RECORD CHASE at the same time. for 0.5  
sec.  
LED’s will light for these and for HOLD on (FIG 3.) CH 1-24 HOLD/FLASH .  
B. Touch in sequence (FIG.1.) CHASE 9 , (FIG.1.) CHASE 6 , (FIG.1.) CHASE 5, then (FIG.1.)  
CHASE # you want to delete, all LED’s will blink 3 times and LED’s will turn off.  
CLEAR ALL(CHASE PROGRAM/ASSIGN SCENE PROGRAM / CHANNEL OUTPUT.  
A. Touch (FIG 6.) ASSIGN SCENE /BLIND and (FIG 9.) RECORD CHASE at the same time. for 0.5  
sec.  
LED’s will light for these and for HOLD on (FIG 3.) CH 1-24 HOLD/FLASH .  
B. Touch in sequence (FIG.1.) CHASE 9 , (FIG.1.) CHASE 6 , (FIG.1.) CHASE 8, (FIG.1.) CHASE 1  
, all LED’s will blink 3 times and LED’s will turn off.  
EVERYTHING MEMORIZED IN TP-DMX24F WILL BE ERASED!  
3. RECORD / CHASE  
Once you have programmed TP-DMX24F you can run RECORD / CHASE.  
In MANUAL MODE touch (FIG 9.) RECORD CHASE for 0.5sec. LED is lit. If Chase LED of  
(FIG 7.) AUDIO PERCENT TRAITS CHASE is lit the unit is in CHASE mode. If SINGLE LED of  
(FIG10.) SINGLE CHASE / MIX CHASE / STEP is lit, the unit is in SINGLE CHASE. You can touch  
(FIG10.) SINGLE CHASE / MIX CHASE / STEP to select MIX Chase.  
In SINGLE CHASE mode, all selected chasing programs are run in the order you selected them.  
In MIX CHASE mode, all selected chasing programs are run at the same time.

3. RECORD / CHASE cont.  
There are 3 ways to control the chase program 1. CHASE, 2. AUDIO, 3. MANUAL  
3.1. CHASE control  
A. Set (FIG13.) CHASE FADER to SHOW position > 10 min.  
The Chase will be controlled by what ever time was programmed in section 2.1  
( The default setting is 0.3 sec)  
B. Set (FIG13.) CHASE FADER to any position up to 10 min  
The Chase will be controlled by what ever time selected, all steps will be the same duration.  
C. Tap (FIG 5.) REAL TIME /TAP SYNC 2 times  
The Interval between the 2 Taps controls the chase steps.  
3.2. AUDIO control  
A. Touch (FIG 7.) AUDIO PERCENT TRAITS CHASE AUDIO LED lights.  
Chase is controlled by bass beats of Music. Sensitivity is adjusted by (FIG13.) CHASE FADER.  
If you have a line connected to EXT AUDIO input built in MIC is disabled.  
3.3. MANUAL control  
A. Touch (FIG 8.) MANUEL / STEP LED lights up and AUDIO and CHASE LED’s of (FIG 7.) AUDIO  
PERCENT TRAITS CHASE button turns off. Unit is in MANUAL control. Tap (FIG10.) SINGLE  
CHASE / MIX CHASE / STEP to step thru program.  
4. ASSIGN SCENE  
Once you have programmed TP-DMX24F and it is in MANUAL mode  
A. Touch (FIG 6.) ASSIGN SCENE /BLIND for 0.5 sec. LED lights up indicating unit is in ASSIGN  
SCENE  
B. When you want to assign Channel 2 to Channels 1-8 , touch (FIG 2.) CHANNEL 2, LED lights,  
(FIG14.) LCD DIGITAL DISPLAY reads 02,Channels 1-8 LED’s are on and their output is turned on.  
Touch (FIG 3.) CH 1-24 HOLD/FLASH until Hold LED is lit, then touch (FIG 2.) CHANNEL 2 , LED  
remains on as does Channel 1-8 LEDs.They remain on until (FIG 2.) CHANNEL 2 is touched again.  
5. REAL TIME EDIT (USING (FIG 6.) ASSIGN SCENE /BLIND BUTTON)  
5.1 EDIT OUTPUT LEVEL while using CHASE MODE  
Press (FIG 6.) ASSIGN SCENE /BLIND + touch the (FIG 2.) CHANNEL 1-24 button of the  
CHANNEL, you wish to adjust, twice. The LED will blink rapidly use (FIG12 ) DIMMER FADER  
to change the value.  
WHEN YOU EXIT FROM RECORD CHASE MODE EDIT IS CANCELED  
4. BLACKOUT  
BLACK OUT (no output) is engaged by touching (FIG11.) BLACK OUT LED blinks rapidly.  
To return to normal operation touch (FIG11.) BLACK OUT until LED turns off.

MIDI SETTING AND RUNNING  
MIDI SETTING  
Touch and hold (FIG.1.) CHASE 9, CHASE 10, CHASE 11,CHASE 12, while power is being turned  
on.  
CHASE 1, CHASE 2, CHASE 3 LEDs blink rapidly and (FIG14.) LCD DIGITAL DISPLAY READS  
AAA  
this means console is in MIDI mode.  
1. CHASE 1 MIDI SEND / CHASE 2 MIDI RECEIVE  
Touch CHASE 1 or CHASE 2 the LEDs blinks and go out. MIDI channel is defined, as CHANNEL  
1-16,CHANNEL 17-24 is not assigned. Touch any CHANNEL 1-16, LED lights then touch (FIG 7.)  
AUDIO PERCENT TRAITS CHASE, selected CHANNEL is memorized. Touch (FIG 7.) AUDIO  
PERCENT TRAITS CHASE once more to exit from MIDI and to return to MANUAL mode.  
2. CHASE 3 MIDI MEMORY DUMP.  
Touch CHASE 3, LED lights, and other turn off. touch once more to transmit memory information,  
when the LED blinks, transmission is done. Touch (FIG 7.) AUDIO PERCENT TRAITS CHASE the  
LEDs of CHASE 1, CHASE 2, CHASE 3 light. Touch (FIG 7.) AUDIO PERCENT TRAITS CHASE  
once more to exit from MIDI and to return to MANUAL mode.  
MIDI RUNNING  
1. NOTE ON / NOTE OFF  
To receive note on / note off information touch (FIG 2.) CHANNEL 1-24 note on / note off informa-  
tion is sent with maximum speed.
