Warning
Keep the appliance out of
the reach of children. This
trimmer is designed for cutting
nose and ear hairs. Do not
attempt to use it for any other
purpose. For hygienic reasons,
do not share this appliance with
third persons. If you have a
disease in the nose or ear area
that requires treatment, please
be careful when using the ap-
pliance or consult your doctor.
Never use the appliance if the
cutting parts are damaged or
broken.
Inserting the battery
This appliance operates with
one AA 1.5 V battery. For best
performance, use an alkaline
manganese battery (type LR 6,
MN 1500, AM 3, AA, e.g.
Duracell).
Make sure the appliance is
turned off.
Turn the battery cover (4) as
shown in (a) and pull it off.
Insert the battery with (+) pole
up and replace the battery
cover.
Note: If the appliance is not
used for long periods of time, do
not leave the battery inserted
(danger of leakage). Take an
expired battery out of the
appliance immediately.
Using your trimmer
Remove the protective cap (5)
and slide switch (3) up.
Carefully guide the appliance to
the hairs to be trimmed so that
they reach into the cutting cage
(1).
Please avoid introducing the
trimmer more than 1/4˝ (5 mm)
into nose or ear.

Cleaning and maintenance
This appliance is
suitable for cleaning
under an open water
tap.
Remove the cutting cage (1) by
turning counter-clockwise.
Clean the cutting cage and the
blade (2) under running water
(b).
After cleaning, leave the cut-
ting parts to dry before reas-
sembling (c). Apply a drop of
light machine oil below the
blade twice a year or after
cleaning the appliance with
water.

Insertion de la pile
Cet appareil fonctionne à l’aide
d’une pile AA 1,5 V. Pour une
performance optimale, utiliser
une pile alcaline au manganèse
(type LR 6, MN 1500, AM 3, AA,
p. ex. Duracell).
S’assurer que l’appareil est hors
tension.
Tourner le couvercle de la pile
(4) conformément à l’illustration
(a) et le retirer en tirant. Insérer
la pile, pôle (+) vers le haut, et
remettre le couvercle.
Remarque : Si l’appareil n’est
pas utilisé pendant une longue
période de temps, ne pas
laisser la pile à l’intérieur (risque
de fuite). Retirer immédiatement
la pile épuisée de l’appareil.
Utilisation de la tondeuse
Retirer le capuchon de protec-
tion (5) et pousser l’interrupteur
(3) vers le haut.
Guider délicatement l’appareil
vers les poils à tailler afin de les
capter à l’aide de la cage de
coupe (1).
Éviter d’insérer la tondeuse plus
de 5 mm (1/4 po) dans le nez ou
l’oreille.

Nettoyage et entretien
Cet appareil peut être
nettoyé à l’eau du
robinet.
Retirer la cage de coupe (1) en
la tournant vers la gauche.
Nettoyer la cage de coupe et la
lame (2) à l’eau du robinet (b).
Après le nettoyage, laisser
sécher les pièces de coupe
avant de les remonter (c).
Appliquer une goutte d’huile à
machine légère sous la lame
deux fois par an ou après avoir
nettoyé l’appareil à l’eau.

Insertando la batería

Limpieza y mantenimiento
Este aparato puede ser
limpiado bajo el chorro
de agua.
Remueva el recortador (1)
al girarlo en sentido de las
manecillas del reloj. Limpie el
recortador y la cuchilla (2) bajo
el chorro de agua (b).
Después de limpiar, deje que
se sequen las partes antes de
armar (c). Aplique una gota de
aceite lubricantes debajo de
la cuchilla dos veces al año o
después de limpiar el aparato
con agua.
