wireless technology! The headset is
comfortable and easy to use.

Bluetooth wireless technology is a short-
distance wireless communication
technology. The range of operation
between Bluetooth wireless technology
devices is about 33ft. (10M).

Bluetooth wireless technology does not
require line-of-sight and can transmit
through walls and other non-metal
obstacles. Thick or reinforced concrete
may limit the range.

d. Activate the Bluetooth connection
from your cell phone. Execute the
search function to search for
Bluetooth devices. When the search
completes, a list of supported
devices will be displayed. Consult
your cell phone user guide for
specific instructions.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The battery must be charged for at least
2 hours prior to use. Once charged, it
provides up to 4 hours talk time and up
to 100 hours standby time.
1. Connect the AC Adapter to
your headset.
2. Plug the AC Adapter into a

phone with your headset. When
prompted, enter passkey 0000.

PAIRING YOUR HEADSET WITH A
CELL PHONE
a. Ensure your cell phone is turned on
and is within 33 feet (10 meters) of
your headset.
RECONNECTING TO A COMPATIBLE
CELL PHONE
If your headset is out of the 33ft. (10M)
range for over 10 minutes, reactivate
the connection by pressing the
Multi Function button until the device
powers on, and the connection is
reestablished.
b. Ensure your headset is turned off.
c. Place your headset in pairing mode
by pressing and holding the
Multi Function button for five
seconds until the LED Indicator
flashes blue and red alternately.

PERFORMING BASIC FUNCTIONS
Power On
Press the Multi Function button for
approximately 3-5 seconds. The LED
Indicator will flash blue 4 times and
then turn on.

Disconnect the charger and power
off the headset when you clean it.
Do NOT directly spray liquid or
cleansers on the surface of your
headset. Spray the cleanser on a
soft cloth and then clean the
device with it.
Press the Multi Function button for
approximately 3-5 seconds. The LED
Indicator will flash red several times
and then turn off.
Answer a Call
Press the Multi Function button.

this may damage it.

A: Yes, as long as the cell phone

A: No. Through pairing, you have
created a secure link between your cell
phone and your headset.
Q: Why is my cell phone unable to find
the headset?
A: Your cell phone should be able
to find the headset when it is in
pairing mode.

Q: Is pairing needed each time I use
my headset?
A: No. The pairing information is stored
in both devices, even if one or both of
them have been turned off.

The instructions provided in this user
guide may not cover all information. For
further information please refer to your
cell phone user guide.
Q: Is it necessary to reconnect the two
devices when there is an interruption
on the link between my phone and
my headset?
A: It varies depending on the type of
phone. Some cell phones will reconnect
automatically if both devices are within
the 33ft. (10M) range. Some cell phones
must be physically reconnected.
Q: Why is there noise in my headset?
A: When the distance between your
phone and your headset exceeds the
33ft. (10M) range, background noise
may occur. If the signal for your phone is
poor in your area, your headset may
likewise receive poor quality reception.
Q: What can I do if my headset sound
quality is poor?
A: Try adjusting the volume of your
phone, or your headset. Also, check the
quality of the signal on your phone in
your area.

CONSUMER LIMITED WARRANTY
Kyocera Wireless Corp. (“KYOCERA”) offers you a

climate or temperature; (iii) any Product operated
outside published maximum ratings; (iv) cosmetic
damage; (v) any Product on which warranty stickers or
Product serial numbers have been removed, altered, or
rendered illegible; (vi) cost of installation, removal or

caused by defects in material and workmanship); (viii)
damage the result of fire, flood, acts of God or other
acts which are not the fault of KYOCERA and which the
Product is not specified to tolerate, including damage
caused by mishandling, shipping and blown fuses; (ix)
consumables (such as fuses); or (x) any Product which
has been opened, repaired, modified or altered by
anyone other than KYOCERA or a KYOCERA authorized
service center.

that the subject Product (i) is returned, with
USE ONLY KYOCERA APPROVED ACCESSORIES WITH
KYOCERA PHONES. USE OF ANY UNAUTHORIZED
ACCESSORIES MAY BE DANGEROUS AND WILL
INVALIDATE THE PHONE WARRANTY IF SAID
ACCESSORIES CAUSE DAMAGE OR A DEFECT TO THE
