Straighten your hair
Preparation for hair
‡ꢀ Wash hair with shampoo and conditioner
‡ꢀ Use heat protection product and comb your hair with large-
toothed comb
‡ꢀ Blow dry your hair with a brush
Usage
Ensure that you select a temperature setting that is suitable for your
hair. Please refer to the HairType table at the end of the chapter.Always

Connect the plug to a power supply socket.
Press and hold the button ( ) until the display screen lights up.
»The default temperature setting 160°C is displayed ( ).

buttons ( ) to select your desired
temperature setting. Refer to the HairType table at the end of the
chapter.
»When the heating plates are heating up, the temperature digits
will blink.

When the heating plates have reached the selected
temperature, the temperature digits stop blinking.
ThermoGuard
ThermoGuard prevents you from unintentional heat exposure above
200°C.When you increase the temperature above 200°C, the
temperature will increase only 5°C by each step.

The ion function is activated when the appliance is switched on,
which provides additional shine and reduces frizz.
»The ion indicator ( ) is displayed.

You may smell a special odor and hear a sizzling noise. It is
common because they are caused by the ion generator.

Slide the closing lock ( ) downwards to unlock the appliance.
The keys are automatically locked if no button is pressed for 15
seconds to avoid unintentional switching.
Press
for 1 sec to unlock the appliance.

Comb your hair and then start by clipping your blow dried hair into
sections not wider than 5cm.
Note: For thicker hair, it is suggested to create more sections.

Place one section of hair in between the heating plates ( ) and

Slide the straightener down the length of the hair in a single motion
(max. 5 seconds) from root to end, without stopping to prevent
overheating.

achieve your desired look.

Create curls and flicks

Take a section of hair and place it between the heating plates.
Wrap the hair once around the straightener with the hair covering
over the upper part of the straightener. Hold on to the remaining
hair so that it stays between the plates.

Turn the straightener 180 degree inwards.

Pull the straightener downwards along the hair and rotate
continuously in a downward motion until you reach the end of the
hair.
Tip: Gently relax the grip on the handle as you rotate so that you can
easily turn the straightener

Straighten your hair as described in Chapter 2.As straightener gets
close to the end of the hair tips, slowly rotate your wrist to turn the
straightener in half-circle motion inwards (or outwards) till hair glides
off the plates.

Repeat the above step until you achieve the desired look.

Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.

Clean the appliance and heating plates by damp cloth.
Close the heating plates ( ) and slide the closing lock (
upwards to lock the appliance.

Keep it in a safe and dry place, free of dust.You can also hang it with
the hanging loop ( ), or store it in the supplied pouch ( ), with
the appliance and cable placed properly ( ).
Tip
‡ Use the straightener only when your hair is dry.
‡ Frequent users are recommended to use heat protection
