Remote IR sensor: Receives remote control signal
Photo sensor: Senses brightness of room.
Auto brightness sensing and control system minimizes power consumption and maintains
optimum brightness for best quality picture.

2. Operat ng Instructions
2.1 Power: After connecting the power adapter, press the power switch to start
playing. Photos on internal or external memory will automatically start slideshow.
2.2 Power indicator: LED lights on transparent wing indicate Photo Frame is ready
for operation.
2.3 Memory card: The top card slot (Compact Flash slot) supports CF-I, CF-II, and
Micro drive memory cards. The lower card slot (5-in-1 memory slot) supports SD,
MMC, Memory-stick, and xD memory cards. The memory selection pop-up menu
will automatically display when a new memory card is inserted.
2.4 Memory card selection:
2.4.1 After powering on, the Photo Frame will check the Compact Flash slot, 5-in-1
memory slot, and internal memory, respectively. If the Compact Flash slot has
a card, its photo/music/movie will load and allow to be selected. If the
Compact Flash slot is empty, then the Photo Frame will check the 5-in-1
memory slot and play its files (if a card is in the 5-in-1 slot). If 5-in-1 memory
slot is empty, then the Photo Frame will select the internal memory.

2.4.2 The last contents loaded from memory will load and play upon next boot-up
via the remote control.
2.5 Store contents from memory card to internal memory
2.5.1 If you want to store all contents of the memory card to internal memory, press
the “STORE” button at Home menu.
2.5.2 If you want to store photo, music, or movie groups from memory card to
internal memory, press the “STORE” button at Photo list, Music list, or Movie
list of memory card.
2.5.3 If you want to store one or more files from memory card to internal memory,
press “OK” when highlighting a file(s) at folder menu, then press “STORE.”
2.6 Dimming control: The dimming control will control the brightness of picture.
2.7 Ready mode: The Photo Frame will enter Ready mode when being powered off
via the remote control’s Power button. Pressing the Power button on the remote
will take Photo Frame out of Ready mode.
2.8 Control button: The control buttons on top of the Photo Frame controls all
functions.
2.9 Photo sensor: Photo sensor will sense the room light condition and
automatically adjust the picture brightness.

PC connection by USB cable: An optional USB adaptor cable (available
directly from PoGo!) can be used to connect the Pholio to your PC for file
transfers. By using the EXIF format application, you may add index and memos
before download to Pholio.
2.11 USB device connection: The extension can also connect to a USB Flash
memory or USB hard disk drive for additional storage of photos, music, and video,
or to connect and download photos directly from digital still cameras.
2.12 Cradle: The cradle attaches to the Pholio via the multifunction connector and
provides extra functions as follows;
2.12.1 Mid-woofer sound for enhanced dynamics of music and allows the mid-
woofer volume to be controlled separately.
2.12.2 Auto on/off control by detection of movement. If the sensors do not detect
movement for 30 minutes, Pholio will shut off.
2.12.3 USB slave to PC/USB host to USB memory device or digital still camera.
These two connections provide same functions as PC & USB device cable
connection (section 2.10).
2.12.4 Video output to TV or monitor and stereo audio output to TV or audio amplifier.
These A/V outputs can also be used for recording via VCR or camcorder.

3. Menu
The Menu provides easy to use functions with structured icon and textual notations,
and consists of the following contents:
3.1 Home menu shows the 5 icons of main functions:

Set-up:
ꢀ Slide show setting: duration, background music on/off
ꢀ Language setting: Language, Font size
ꢀ Time and Date setting,
ꢀ LED on/off setting

ꢀ System information: Software version, Hardware version, last update
status, free memory space.

CLOCK: Clock and Calendar
On/Off: Operating / standby
CARD: Select card that’s inserted
INFO: Shows status information of contents decoding
BG MUSIC: Background music on, off control
HOME: Go to main menu at any position
MUTE: Switches Mute On or Off
SLIDE SHOW: Start photo slide show with assigned period.
Slide show also plays background music.
MENU: Functions controlled via Menu:
Go to Edit:
- Store: Store entire memory card contents to internal memory.
- Delete: Delete one or multiple files on internal memory. This function
does not apply to external memory.
Sort Order:
- by Name: Sort files alpha-numerically, lower case, upper case
- by Date: Sort files by date.
- by Size: Sort files by file size
- by Folder: Sort by directory name.
- Shuffle
Go to:

- Net Cam View (Optional for PPF100M4 model): This menu is
available for home observation models, to view observation camera
picture)
- Image View: Same function with PHOTO button of remote controller.
- Music View: Same function with MUSIC button of remote controller.

PREV: Play previous music file/movie
NEXT: Play the next music file/movie
FIRST: Go to the first file on list
LAST: Go to the last file on list

OK: Select the menu or play the file
VOL +/-: Increase or decrease the volume
PLAY/PAUSE: Play/pause the file
STOP: Stop the play
ZOOM +/-: Zoom up/down the photo
ROTATE CCW/CW: Change the photo to portrait or landscape
STORE: Copy and store photo, music, movie from external memory card to
internal memory.
DEL: Delete photo, music, or movie files from internal memory
PHOTO: Shows the thumbnail photo list
MUSIC: Shows the music list
MOVIE: Shows the thumbnail movie list

4. Safety Instruct on
4.1 Do not drop or cause impact to avoid damage to operation.
4.2 Do not expose to oil, smoke, moisture or water to avoid electric shock or fire.
4.3 Do not place near a fireplace or a heater.
4.4 Do not block the vent with a table cover or by a curtain.
4.5 Do not disassemble, repair, alter or modify the device in any way.
4.6 Never insert metal objects or inflammable material in the vent or connectors.
4.7 Keep the device unplugged when not in use over a long period of time.
4.8 Clean with a soft, dry cloth after unplugging the apparatus
4.9 Do not scratch or hit the LCD panel.
4.10 Avoid inserting or removing memory card while power is on.

5. Tr ubleshooting
Problems
LED is not lighting
Solution
Check the power button, adapter, and connection.
No response of remote control or button
Press power button on frame to reboot and check again

6.1 This product is designed and manufactured to high standards and delivers high
quality performance, ease of use and ease of installation. Should you encounter
any difficulties while installing or using this product, please check this manual
carefully before you contact technical support.
6.2 Warranty applies in the United States only and is valid for 1 year from original
date of purchase provided that the product was handled properly, used as
intended and in accordance with the operating instructions, and upon
presentation of the original invoice or cash receipt indicating the date of purchase,
dealer’s name, and model number of product.
6.3 What it excludes
This warranty may not apply if:
